Chinese Dancing Handkerchief

Maya is so proud of herself! Today she amazed all of her kindergarden friends with this trick with the Chinese dancing handkerchief. We've had it forever, from one of our many Chinese culture outings [FCC Culture Day? Tulsa Heritage Camp? OCDF Weekend? Chinese Language Camp?], but I couldn't remember what it was called. We had to look it up so we could say something other than "the twirly thingamabob," which is what it's been up to now.
All she's talked about this week has been the upcoming talent show for her class (her class is "Class of the Week" this week, and Class of the Week gets to have an in-class-no-parents-invited talent show, which was even more exciting than the other perk for being Class of the Week -- the ability to wear non-uniform tennis shoes, even sparkly ones!).
How much fun to have a chance to SHINE in front of her classmates, and how much more fun to do it with a CHINESE trick! If you've been reading here for a while, you know that Maya isn't always thrilled to be "different." Today, she was just glowing about having shown her class how amazing it is to know cool Chinese tricks!
[Don't you love her played-all-day-no-I-don't-need-to-brush-it hair!]

Awesome! Okay, share the trick because that thing is hard to handle. I cannot manage it!
