I just want to mention that the Moon Festival always corresponds to the major Korean harvest festival of Chuseok. (Chuseok may be even more important to Koreans than Lunar New Year.) Special rice cakes called songpyon are prepared for the holiday. They are delicious and yes, I usually buy them.
Thanks for the links.
I wonder where to purchase the cookie stamp for the moon cakes.
There is also this book, but I guess it is out of print: http://www.amazon.com/Forest-Mice-Harvest-Moon-Watch/dp/0836812689/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1284581821&sr=8-4 The 14 Forest Mice and the Moon
