It is my worst fear. I hope they, and all of the others around the world, find their children safe and healthy.

Wendy - I don't think they'll ever find out. It's not completely "impossible", but China isn't exactly known for matching up DNA now, is it. :\

Malinda - this news creeps me out so, SO much. It just sends chills up my spine.

I read this and just feel sick. As a parent, I can't imagine the pain these poor people go through. I was thinking with the advances in DNA perhaps there could be some hope... but there's so many people in China...

Heartbreaking. The worst agony a parent could face. So sad.

Having just returned fm China-I can tell you = as I was walking my 4.6 yr old on a backpack "leash" I got alot of thumbs up (sure I got alot of weird stares...) but once they saw that K did not mind - in fact it gave her more freedom - I think I could have sold them by the hundreds...this news (although I have a daughter) is a parents worst nightmare! I saw so many children unattended - as the parents are trying to make a living...very very sad.
