I'm saddened to share that the young China adoptee who needed a bone marrow transplant to treat her leukemia, Katie Cramer, passed away on Thursday.
I always have the urge to hold my children, hug them tight, when I hear these tragic stories.

Oh, this is heartbreaking. I've been following her story for several years now. My condolences to all of her loved ones.
I have three children from China. I don't know how I would cope if this happened any of them. All I can do is keep this young lady in mind whenever I feel frustrated or angry at them when they are just being kids and remember how lucky I am to have them. We will be praying for the Cramer family.
What a beautiful Guangxi-girl; I will hold her family in my prayers ~ and yes, hug my kids a little bit harder...
Many prayers for the grieving family. I've followed Katie's story for quite some time. I had so hoped and prayed that her last bone marrow treatment would work.
