Kristin Chenoweth & Rosie O'Donnell Talk Adoption

The website describes it as:
Kristin Chenoweth Opens Up About Her Adoption
At first, actress Kristin Chenoweth was scared to talk about being adopted, but she explains why she's not afraid anymore. Plus, Kristin and Rosie share an emotional moment when they contemplate what it would be like for Kristin to meet her birth mother and for Rosie's children to meet their birth mothers.
What do you think?

I don't know if I would say "thank you" to my kids' first mom. Not because I don't love my kids, but because it seems to ignore the hurt and pain she may have faced.

Similar to what Kristin said, "I just wonder...I want to know...
I just want information...There's so much I don't know" are all things my daughter has said to
me when talking about her birth parents. Sometimes it's the unknown that breaks her heart.
Somedays she just sighs and says, "if I just knew their names."

I tell her I wish I did too.

Please....someone tell Kristin Chenoweth that saying thank you, I had a wonderful Mom is the same as saying, Lordie, thank god I wasn't raised by you.

Kristen, Rosie, I know you mean well but as a birth mother, I have a lot of trouble with you wanting to thank your birth mothers.

Birth mothers aren't giving a gift when they surrender their children. They give up their children, in most cases, because they lack the resources to care for them. Thanking your birth mother is just pouring salt in her wounds.

Rosie, why not have some birth mothers on your show to talk about meeting their children and what their hopes are?
