Kids Say the Darndest Things

A bit of frivolity for the weekend -- Art Linkletter, TV host of Kids Say the Darndest Things, passed away Wednesday at age 97.  In his honor, tell us in the comments the darndest thing your kid has ever said!

Here it is verbatim from an e-mail I sent to her godfather in 2005:

"Today they showed Gordy on the family channel. (He's a little porker in the tradition of Babe, etc.) So Simone is spouting off about Hollywood and says she thinks it's really neat and exciting and she'd like to be an actress and go there like Raven and everybody and get her star on Hollywood Blvd. And I told her it's really difficult to be an actress and life in Hollywood ain't easy. So she says to me without missing a beat, 'Well, if a pig can get there so can I.'"

Art Linkletter was also an adoptee, adopted at a time before records were sealed.
