I work in a state agency and deal with adoption every day. What do we tell people when they say they want to help "poor orphans from Hatti."
There has been a lot about what to say but there is no good sound bite. I think if I focus on saying they need food, water, doctors, and the funds to get all of the above then that will help the most.
